Busy Dermatologist office in the Reston, VA area seeks personable team player for full time Front Desk Receptionist position in a well-established and professionally managed dermatology practice.

Our team approach culture focuses on achieving excellence in the patient experience. The Front Desk Receptionist position works as part of the health care team in delivering a high level of patient care.

In addition to a strong commitment to customer service, the ideal candidate must have the ability to multi-task in a busy office, have a positive attitude, and be a team player!

Duties:

• Scheduling New and Follow-up Patient Appointments

• Check in and Check out patients, verify and update demographic information

• Verify insurance and patient eligibility

• Post charges and co-payments in system, balance daily transactionsQualifications

• Strong computer skills

• Attention to detail with strong ability to multitask

• Excellent communication skills, personable, and energetic

• Insurance experience

• Must be flexible with hours and days

Additional Information

Job Type:

• Full-time: We have a variety of shifts. Candidate must be comfortable working an 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:15am - 6:30 PM. Possibly some Saturdays as well.

Experience:

• Experience as a Medical Receptionist is required

• Dermatology knowledge and/or outpatient experience is highly preferred

• Experience with EHR and computer systems

Education:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
