Job Description
Busy construction office is looking for full-time general office assistant. Successful candidate will be well organized, cooperative and be willing to help with all aspects of day-to-day construction office operations. They should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position needs to be comfortable dealing with our customers in a professional manner whether in person, on the telephone or through email.
Duties will include but not limited to:
Payroll – assist in processing weekly in-house payroll, along with certified payroll reporting and workforce compliance reporting
New Employee and New Project setups – assist in gathering documentation and setting up new employee and projects into accounting software.
Assist office personnel with general office functions such as answering phones, greeting visitors, filing
Required skills:
Excellent computer skills including email applications, web-based software applications and Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
Beneficial Skills:
Experience with payroll tasks and reporting
Experience with construction industry and its reporting requirements
Experience with Timberline construction accounting software
