Commercial Banking Officer (Maite)

The Commercial Banking Officer will provide financial advice and counsel to potential and existing bank business customers. The Commercial Banking Officer will sell the Bank’s products and services which include informing the customer of benefits and features. As a Commercial Banking Officer, you will act as an initial contact for referral of the customer to personal bankers and specialized areas of the bank such as cash management, credit cards, investments, wealth management, estate and succession planning, employee benefits, etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work required.

3+ years of experience in small business, commercial and/or corporate banking required.

Must complete Business/Commercial Banking Associates program or related experience.

Must be able to read various financial statements and have a general understanding of accounting concepts.

Post baccalaureate degree (desirable).

Able to plan, organize and budget.

Good written and verbal communication.

Able to handle confidential matters judiciously.

Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow-through.

Able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.

Good time management skills.

Possesses sales skills to enhance business development objectives.

Ability to inform, persuade and convince customers of the perceived value of products and services.

Good working knowledge of financial service products.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Hours may vary)

The Commercial Banking Officer title and grade is at the discretion of the Manager and will be discussed at the time of the offer. It may be different than what is listed on the requisition based on the candidate's experience level.
