Position Description
The RF Engineer will support the RF hardware, software, and supporting equipment design, analysis, and integration and testing for programs of record.
Typical duties:
Development of RF requirements
Support/Development of an RF chain
Knowledge of missile systems desired. System includes missile guidance, RF sensor, controls sections, airframe models, and communication systems.
Capable in the use of an analytic process to perform tasks
Use of data and configuration management system as part of completion of duties
Development of experiment test matrices
Support technical reviews
Documentation of design, test procedures and test reports
Read, interpret, and comprehend electronic schematics and drawings to repair and maintain complex electronic equipment.
Create and update documentation of all types: schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, assembly diagrams, maintenance logs, standard operating procedures, and instruction manuals, and keep documentation accurate, available, and ready for use as needed.
Follow standard security and IA procedures.
Knowledge of Mat lab and ability to use and modify scripts.
Basic knowledge of Linux environment.
Capable of obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret security clearance.
Core Skills
Understand RF signal chains and RF signal analysis
Knowledge of Radar Systems, Electronic Warfare Systems to include Knowledge of missile guidance, RF sensor, controls sections, airframe models, and communication systems.
Experience with using lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, Key sight EW threat simulation system, etc.)
Technical writing (both report writing and brief generation)
