The Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist performs detailed reimbursement duties in support of New River Valley Community Services centralized Accounts Receivable/Billing Department.

Work primarily involves, but is not limited to, submission of claim files, retrieval of detailed payer responses, remittance files and routine follow up on outstanding accounts receivable.

$2,000 Sign on Bonus Starting Salary: $40,000-Depending on Experience Education/Experience Required: * Associates Degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent with practical experience * Minimum of two (2) years reimbursement/electronic billing experience with Medicaid or third party insurance programs.

* Considerable knowledge of computer equipment, medical collections techniques, and electronic claims submission processes desirable.
