Position Purpose

Perform assigned job responsibilities in the food service kitchen. Including food preparation, cashier, serving record keeping, cleaning and working in the dish room. In addition, perform those assigned tasks with a positive and productive attitude that creates an environment where children feel safe and quality meals are prepared and served that meet the requirements.

Essential Functions

Food preparation.

Serving

Working the cash register.

Record keeping.

Cleaning.

Assisting with inventory.

Product tasting.

Decorating and marketing.

Assist others when assigned tasks are completed.

Travel Requirement

Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

Pay Rate

$15.38 per hour.

Work Schedule

182 days per year.

4-7 hours per day.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of basic culinary and sanitation skills.

Knowledge of simple math (weights and measures).
