USAID’s Momentum Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) award is a USAID funded global award, that works in tandem with country governments and local nongovernmental organizations to provide targeted technical and capacity development assistance and contribute to the global technical leadership and policy dialogue on improving measurable outcomes for maternal, reproductive, newborn and child health, and voluntary family planning.
MCGL seeks an e Learning/Digital Health Officer for a two-year USAID funded program in East Jerusalem, the East Jerusalem Hospital Network (EJHN). EJHN comprises six non-profit, charitable hospitals that have a long history of providing services to patients from East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza. The EJHN program will support hospitals within the network to diversify income streams and improve quality of services for patients from the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem.
The E learning/Digital Health Officer will work closely with EJHN hospitals and partners.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain implementation guidance, templates and formats to support implementation of online sessions (KKI and Project ECHO)
Advocate, coordinate and collaborate to jointly plan and implement eMentorship initiatives under EJHN project.
Provide constant technical support for the implementation of eMentoring through technical experts virtually connected to EJHN hospitals and health service providers
Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop curriculum, content and to support delivery of content using a virtual platform
Support mentees and mentors with a diverse field of programs that center availability and accessibility of platforms.
Support mentees and mentors by eliminating geographic barriers for matches.
Develop and maintain system for participants to communicate between sessions to discuss questions and support learning
Plan for and coordinate ongoing monitoring and feedback for virtual sessions.
Capturing educational audio visual mediums of training to build library for continues states of readiness for existing employees and a base line performance expectations for a new employees
Work with the Clinical Services Specialist and project team in identification of and dissemination of best practices and new strategies and approaches
Provide technical input during the development of work plans and/or long-term strategies
Participate in the project’s internal meetings and share challenges and lessons learned in implementing activities in areas of technical expertise
Coordinate with knowledge management team to ensure a documentation platform for all clinical related activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
5 to 6 years of relevant work experience in leading, planning and implementing Information Technology initiatives and programs.
Previous practical experience training and capacity development including development of curriculum, training materials and post training follow up is advantageous
Previous experience with technology platforms (e.g. Webinar platforms, SMS, IVR, helplines, Facebook) is advantageous
Ability to work successfully in teams, across a diverse team in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform
Strong skills in facilitation, collaboration and coordination
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including strong writing, analytical and communication skills
Experience working with Microsoft Office software applications (Excel, Word, Outlook Explorer, Power Point) is advantageous
Ability to coordinate and represent the project and organization nationally with professionalism
Committed and willingness to travel in rural areas in the country
