● Completes, submits, and meticulously reviews daily record documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness on a daily basis.

● Exhibits exceptional skills in engaging individuals in age-appropriate and functionally relevant activities within the community setting.

● Provides unwavering support to individuals with diverse disabilities, assisting them in enhancing and maintaining their skills to foster optimal levels of independence.

● Impeccably implements and meticulously documents progress toward desired outcomes, employing behavioral interventions as outlined in the individual plan of support. Ensures on-site supervision, support, and assistance to prioritize the health and safety of individuals.
● Offers comprehensive on-site supervision and training to individuals residing in a residential setting, encompassing overall monitoring and supervision.
● Provides necessary assistance and support with transportation, taking into account individual needs.
● Completes and submits all programmatic, financial, audit reports, and forms within specified deadlines, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
● Ensures the seamless operation of residential homes, meticulously maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times.
● Monitors and proactively recommends the procurement of supplies when necessary, demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
● Establishes consistent and professional communication with colleagues and supervisors, fostering effective collaboration and maintaining a harmonious work environment.
Qualifications:
● Holds a high school diploma/GED, with a preference for some college education, in addition to previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
● Possesses comprehensive knowledge and expertise in supporting individuals with dual diagnoses, effectively addressing their complex needs.
● Must be 18 years of age or older, demonstrating maturity and responsibility in all professional endeavors.
● Holds a valid driver's license and maintains an impeccable driving record, underscoring a commitment to safety and reliability.
● Successfully passes an extensive background check and a thorough Virginia registry check, providing a current negative TB test result.
● Demonstrates exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with outstanding interpersonal and public relations abilities.
● Exhibits a caring and positive attitude, deriving fulfillment from working with a diverse population, and displaying flexibility in response to individuals' evolving needs.
● Preference given to individuals certified as Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in medication management, CPR/First Aid, and TOVA.
