As the Food and Beverage Manager, you're invited to lead the charge during the crucial pre-opening phase, ensuring our food and beverage offerings reflect the prestigious standards for which Waldorf Astoria is celebrated. Your role will involve recruiting and training top talent team in collaboration with our HR Director and crafting and implementing operational and service protocols alongside the Director of Operations. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with the F&B Concept Creation Team to shape the opening strategy and work with the procurement team to oversee the ordering and receipt of F&B equipment. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of establishing a new standard of luxury dining and service in Belarus.

What will I be doing?

As a Food and Beverage Manager, you are responsible for managing the operations of all Food and Beverage outlets to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Food and Beverage Manager must also manage, train, and develop team members and work within all budgeted guidelines. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Manage all Food and Beverage Outlet operations.

Maintain exceptional levels of customer service

Ensure compliance with brand standards

Recruit, manage, train and develop the Food and Beverage team

Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner

Work within budgeted guidelines concerning Food, Liquor Costs and Payroll

Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures

Develop menus with other members of the Food and Beverage team

Accountable for monthly stock takes

Incentivise team members to maximize sales and revenue

Carry out annual and mid-year appraisals with Managers under your responsibility

Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement

Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes are generated

Be environmentally aware

Assisted other departments wherever necessary and maintained good working relationships.

Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.

Fluency in Russian and English: Must communicate effectively in both languages verbally and in writing.
