We’re looking for 4 people that cover down in these separate areas:

• Network Architect – VCF/NSX/ARIA Suite (formerly vRealize)

• VDI Architect – VCF/Horizon/Aria Suite (formerly vRealize)

• Kubernetes SME – Tanzu & Will most likely have skills around the above

VMware Senior Consultant

What you’ll achieve

As a VMware Senior Consultant within the Dell organization, aligned to consulting service delivery, you will provide consultative business and technical delivery services for a range of complex customer-facing consulting engagements. Specifically, you will be part of projects providing expertise in the design and implementation of complex VMware solutions. These projects will focus on enabling our customers to make full use of VMware products, and is expected to include end-to-end architectural, data management, and implementation consulting for enterprise clients. As a member of the services delivery team, you will work alongside Dell badged Consultants, to earn the customer’s trust through competence, technical acumen, consulting expertise, and partnership. This position requires a dynamic individual with expert customer-facing skills to lead the delivery of VMware consulting and implementation projects for our clients, as well as support for our presales and sales teams to create VMware solutions. Domestic US Travel Required: 50-75%. DoD Clearance required.

You will:

• Be responsible for the end-to-end technical responsibility during the design, procurement, and delivery of complex VMware projects across the enterprise, as well as the development and deployment of scalable VMware platforms in cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.

• Provide architectural consultation to clients in architecting and selecting the right technology stack for flexible and scalable VMware solutions.

• Expertise with VCF, NSX-T, VSAN, Aria, Horizon, vSphere, vCenter, Tanzu, Kubernetes

• Communicate the value proposition of our VMware solutions to potential clients, demonstrating a clear understanding of their unique needs and pain points, understanding the competitive landscape, and effectively positioning our solutions against those of competitors.

• Collaborate with Dell sales teams to create targeted proposals and presentations, addressing specific client requirements and driving successful deal closures.

Essential Requirements

• 10+ years of Enterprise Consulting experience with a proficiency in the architecture and implementation of VMware solutions

• Experience in designing and delivering solutions that leverage VMware XaaS platforms.

• Proven experience delivering and scaling complex infrastructural solutions across diverse platforms.

• Ability to translate complex processes and business problems in various industries into technical solutions with knowledge of architectural best practices.

Desirable Requirements

• Proficiency in Data Center products across Storage, Compute and Network.
