Job Description

Are you a seasoned financial sales professional with experience selling into RIA’s, Family Offices and Wealth Managers? Are you a proven fundraiser who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented and entrepreneurial environment with uncapped earning potential? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Our Client:

Rapidly growing 3rd party distributor with a traditional focus on mutual funds and mid-market asset managers has recently expanded its product line to include a range of alternatives and private credit offerings tailored for the RIA segment.

The team is looking for a Regional Director with strong RIA, Family Office and Private Wealth relationships to carve out a territory for the expanded product line.

About the role:

As a Regional Director, your primary focus will be on building assets, enhancing firm profitability, and elevating brand value by nurturing strategic investor relationships. You'll follow a consultative fundraising model, delivering differentiated private credit, secondaries, and private equity investments within the lower middle-market. Your territory will encompass regional investors, such as RIAs, wealth managers, family offices, endowments, foundations, insurance companies, consultants, and pension plans. Your role is to bring a fresh perspective to these investors and educate them on investments and portfolio construction.

Responsibilities:

Cultivate and nurture relationships with investors, specifically RIAs, wealth managers, and family offices, to secure capital within your designated territory.

Educate financial advisors on the benefits of our client's products and services through presentations, meetings, seminars, and conferences.

Develop and execute business plans to achieve fundraising goals.

Maintain an organized database of current and prospective investor relationships.

Collaborate closely with the fundraising team to follow up on leads generated within your territory.

Travel 2-3 days per week, or as mutually agreed upon.

Contribute to various business and brand-building activities.

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in client services, fundraising and/or working as a wholesaler.

Background in a reputable asset management firm with multiple investment strategies and products preferred.

Profound knowledge of private credit and equity fundamentals.

Well-established, trusted relationships with a substantial number of investors, including RIAs, wealth managers, and family offices.

Proven track record of cultivating relationships and raising capital in your region.

Series 7 and 66 (or 7, 63, and 65) licenses are required.
