Job Description
Job Summary:
Supervise work activities of Housekeeping Department to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms and public areas in the hotel. Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action.
Responsibility/Duties:
Understand and follow hotel standards at all times
Handle all guest complaints regarding the housekeeping department in a timely and satisfactory manner
Train new personnel
Monitor inventory of all housekeeping supplies
Inspect rooms to ensure hotel standards are met
Supervise attendance and schedules of the housekeeping employees
Assist with inventory linen
Run interviews for prospective employees
Process applications for prospective employees
Reporting any injury or any misconduct to the office
Manages deep cleaning program
Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the Housekeeping department

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
5+ years experience in housekeeping
Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Word
Bi-lingual
Experience in managing housekeeping departments with a minimum of 15 employees
Flexible working nights, weekends, and holidays
Working knowledge of Room Management systems (Opera, etc)
