Training Specialist

1+ Year Contract (Strong Articulate exp need)

Remote - strong preference for Albany/capital region, however local to one of Client's NYC, Buffalo, or West Valley offices is acceptable

This position will support continued development of training plans, materials, opportunities, and related resources across the Authority.

Minimum 2-3 years experience in Learning & Development

specialised skills that must be present for the position to be successful?

Video editing/publication

Learning Management System administration

Digital Design/Graphic Design

Large and diverse audience training facilitation

Are there any skills or tasks that the resource needs at start of engagement?

Attention to detail

Ability and willingness to learn complex processes/systems quickly

Ability to translate complex processes/systems for general end-user understanding and adoption

Required Systems Experience:

Articulate or related eLearning authoring software

Camtasia or related video production software

MS Office Suite (with a specific focus on PowerPoint given its Articulate add-in)

Salesforce

SharePoint (specifically with permissions management, advanced library and list functions, and metadata)

Ideal Systems Experience:

Asana (training will be provided)

Confluence (training will be provided)

MS Teams (training will be provided)

PeopleSoft/Oracle (training will be provided based on project need)
