As a vital member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in empowering students to overcome communication challenges and succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in a school-based setting, addressing a diverse range of communication disorders and delays.

Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique goals.

Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques to improve students' speech, language, and social communication skills.

Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to student support and intervention.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessment reports, in compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Eligibility for Virginia state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Clinical Fellows must have completed their Masters degree and be enrolled in or eligible for participation in a clinical fellowship program

CCC-SLPs must hold ASHA certification and Virginia state licensure.

Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required
