Xray Technician Philadelphia, Chester, Upper Darby, PA

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Xray Technician to join our medical team part time or full time in Philadelphia,Chester and Upper Darby, PA. Ideally, we are looking for an energetic, punctual, responsible, and hard-working person. We have several multispecialty offices around the Philadelphia area are looking for a great addition to our already stellar team! Must be able to remain organized while managing multiple details, communicate effectively, and be able to multitask. Ideally, the incoming X-ray has knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, is proficient in a variety of imaging techniques, and a bonus if they are trained in phlebotomy/MA skills. Fluent in Spanish or Chinese is a plus. Experience working in an Urgent Care or medical environment is preferred but we will consider recent grads. We have several offices around the greater Philadelphia area and the X-ray tech will potentially be rotating through all offices (Upper Darby, Havertown, NE Philadelphia, Philly -Brewery town area, and Chester).

Duties:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray, CT, PET scan, and sonography equipment

• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions

• Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images

• Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings to ensure high-quality images

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures

• If capable- Perform venipuncture, lab work, front desk tasks, triage, and vitals as needed

Requirements:

• Proficient in performing diagnostic evaluations and using medical imaging equipment

• Experience working in an Urgent Care or fast-paced medical environment is preferred but recent grads will be considered

• Familiarity with a variety of imaging techniques, including X-ray, CT, PET scan, and sonography

• Ability to speak Spanish or Chinese is preferred

Schedule:

• Part time or full time. Will require some weekend coverage.

Salary:

• $30 - $35 per hour
