FinOps Associate

Ensure delivery of value proposition to all customer segments through on

time and correct invoicing of jobs to customers, including internal

customers (ICBs) and correct and soft/hard close jobs on time.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of fundamental flow of accounts receivable and account payable along for external and intercompany billing within Maersk.

Basic understanding of the FINOPS process across products on platforms like MODS and TMFF (Maersk Internal systems).

Understanding of supply chain end to end process.

Key Responsibilities

Engage actively with Sales and the commercial team to ensure compliance of the upstream process including timely and accurate update of rates and contract terms.

Responsible for the invoicing processes within timeline, including ICB.

Review the Job costing file at customer/ Sales Order/ Material level to identify discrepancies and corrections to be done prior month end.

First validation to check if accruals are reasonable, according to current volumes and prices and final validation for the monthly accruals for both sales orders and purchasing orders, per product and across entities.

Share customer and product profitability input with the Area Product team.

Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of job costing/file management, properly updating job/cost on monthly basis.

Review internal process to ensure efficiency and accuracy on upstream processes.

Provide feedback about result/ deviation at job level.
