Position Vacant: Route to Market Executive

Function: Sales

Location: Port Moresby

We have an immediate requirement for a Route to Market Executive based in Port Moresby, reporting to the Route to Market Manager.

Main Duties will include:

Support key P4P RTM (Route To Market) strategies in Papua New Guinea.

Align, inspire and supervise the current Distributors along New Route to Market strategies that ultimately lead to system-wide growth for SPB and respective customers.

To support and innovate the local RTM Plan both in short term and long term and lead processes to assess and develop the organization capability to deliver the RTM Plan.

Liaising directly with the RTM Manager to support and at times lead Interactions with Distributors and their Leadership Team and influencing them to invest in RTM Capability & Infrastructure.

To coordinate the RTM activities, specifically the Pay 4 performance incentive program and Voice of Customer, to meet customer needs, improve efficiencies, and analyze and resolve work problem by developing RTM programs and ensure appropriate controls and reporting are in place to meet statutory and company requirements.

Provide continuous visibility to RTM partners, other internal and external, of the RTM metrics dashboard and monitor distributors dashboard performance.

Support the development of the Annual Business Plan for RTM implementation in conjunction with commercial team and regional sales teams.

Support the development of consistent policies and processes across the territories that enable delivery of efficient national distribution systems.

Support the ongoing distributor logistics capabilities in terms of infrastructure, processes and systems.

To present and transfer of best practices in RTM across PNG.

Support the Project team in developing Distributor’s Data Exchange (DDE) Capability and Distributor Management (DM)system.

Strengthen RTM capabilities and process implementation.

Request for Data with key strategic partners as part of the P4P Incentive program key monthly deliverables.

Support and strengthen Distributor Safety Management System for Key Distributor to incorporate Worker Safety in Warehouse and on premises. KPI’s to track and reward compliance.

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma or Degree in Business Management or any other related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Distribution, Channel Management & Execution Understanding of FMCG operations.

Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in Sales, Trade Marketing and Operations in a FMCG Market

Deep knowledge of Sales, Distribution and Logistics

Individual must be detail orientated with high level analytical skills.

Deep knowledge of cross functional business links.

Negotiation skills

Computer literacy

Preferably valid Driver’s License.
