Who you'll be working with

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Technical Project Manager to join our fast-paced organization. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for steering the development and execution of client facing technical projects from conception through delivery and continued maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of backend technologies, cloud computing, and full-stack development, with a proven track record in managing complex projects in a technological environment.

What you’ll be doing

Scope & Delivery Management

Partner with onshore Product/Project counterparts to help articulate the project objective and scope.

Assist with overseeing project delivery efforts from kickoff through continued implementation, launch and beyond. This includes managing timelines, scope, and effective utilization of project team members to ensure successful delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and track progress of project milestones and deliverables.

Technical Feasibility Assessments

Plan and conduct technical feasibility/spike exercises for new product ideas and improvements, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.

Evaluate potential technical solutions and make recommendations based on a balance of scalability, time-to-market, and user needs.

Work closely with the engineering teams to assess the impact of proposed changes on the existing architecture and upcoming implementation plans.

Performing Code Reviews

Regularly participate in code review sessions to ensure development practices are followed and the codebase remains clean and maintainable.

Provide constructive feedback to developers, advocating for best practices in code quality, security, and performance.

Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in the development process through effective code reviews.

Technical Oversight and Process Adjustments

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing engineering processes, making adjustments to workflows, technologies, and practices to improve efficiency and product quality.

Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and methodologies to drive innovation and ensure client products remain competitive.

What you'll need to be successful (Requirements)

7+ years of experience with a combination of the following

Strong record of successful delivery of cross-functional enterprise-level projects

Demonstrated project/product management techniques, centered around Agile fundamentals

Hands-on experience with full stack development (or a notable combination of FE/BE experience) & code review

Previous experience as a full-stack developer is essential, with a strong foundation in software development practices and code review processes.

Ability to guide and mentor developers, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.

Relevant hands-on experience building unit tests on common unit test frameworks.

Relevant hands-on experience with RESTful & GraphQL APIs.

Familiarity with dev tools such as Github and Jira.
