Job Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Wheaton, Maryland. This role involves working in-office for a telecom provider, focusing on compliance, evaluation of systems, and various business processes. The candidate will be required to work for 8 hours a week, utilizing skills such as Atlassian Jira, Database, EO/IR systems, Gap Analysis, and Informatica, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting compliance checks and ensuring all business processes align with industry standards

• Evaluating and improving existing systems within the company

• Utilizing Atlassian Jira for project management and workflow design

• Working with databases to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant data

• Applying EO/IR systems knowledge in the analysis and design of business processes

• Carrying out Gap Analysis to identify areas of improvement in current business functions

• Utilizing Informatica for data integration, data quality, and data replication tasks

• Applying knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies in the execution of tasks

• Developing Business Requirement Documents based on collected data and analysis

• Assisting in the design and implementation of new systems or modifications to existing systems.

• Strong understanding of Database systems

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems

• Proficiency in Gap Analysis

• Experience with Informatica

• Familiar with AB Testing techniques

• Understanding of Business Process Functions

• Ability to create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents

• Experience in Designing business models

• Knowledge of Compliance regulations in the relevant business sector
