OSF HealthCare is seeking qualified and compassionate Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our primary care team in various Primary Care locations across Illinois. From the Chicagoland area to outside St. Louis and everywhere in between As a PA at OSF, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other health care professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive physical examinations, obtain medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, such as infections, injuries, diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
Provide preventive care services, such as immunizations, screenings, and health education
Manage chronic disease and coordinate care with specialists and other providers
Document and communicate patient information and care plans using electronic health records
Qualifications:
A master's degree from an accredited PA program
Current or pending Illinois license as a PA
Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
At least one year of clinical experience in primary care preferred
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
