Human Resources Specialist

Venesco, LLC is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to provide support to Army MEDCOM in Falls Church, VA. This role is for a detail-oriented individual familiar with HR and/or Army systems.

This is currently a hybrid role requiring you to be in-office three days/week.

Duties:

Process new employees assigned to Army MEDCOM

Manage and maintain the in and out processing of all civilian personnel within MEDCOM and NCR realm.

Track Honorary Awards to civilian employees for outstanding performance in government service

Attended weekly production meetings with the client

Attend Ergonomic Workplace Training to enhance the current standard operations of the Troop Command and to identify any existing issues with Civ HR.

Attend Worker’s Compensation Supervisory Training to remain abreast of the latest trends and developments of workers compensation for MEDCOM employees.

Requirements:

Proven working experience in an HR role

DOD / Army experience a plus

People oriented and results driven

Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics

Knowledge of HR systems and databases

Attention to detail

Microsoft suite of products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
