We are seeking a Dog Groomer With at least 3 years Prior Employment As A Dog Groomer to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall grooming experience for dogs with appointments with you at our salon.

Responsibilities:

Provide professional quality dog grooming.

Trim or Grind dog nails

Qualifications:

Must be able to groom an average of four plus dogs during an eight-hour day.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs, safely

Grooming certification is preferred.

Grooming tools and equipment must be in good working condition.

Photos of previous grooms showing various breeds and styles will be requested for review.

Passion for helping and caring for dogs

Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner

Ability to thrive in a busy dog grooming environment

Must be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated

Strong customer service skills are a must

Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing effectively

Positive attitude and demeanor

Can handle a full schedule booked weeks to months in advance

K-9 Styles opened in February 2019 and is consistently growing in popularity with customers who want a quality grooming experience for their dogs. Our website lets you see our professional salon environment and the myriad pictures of the dogs we groom. All sizes, all breeds, from puppies to seniors, with all levels of grooming services. Each pet receives an individual groomer's attention for their appointment booked separately, where all-over haircuts take from an hour and a half to two hours to perform for smaller dogs and up to three hours for larger dogs like Doodles! You are paid a competitive salary, plus tips - most customers tip by credit card. You receive our standard benefits package, with some benefits entirely employer-paid and others with a 50% employee contribution. Full-time employees receive 10 days of vacation, 7 days of sick time, and all the federal holidays. The company pays for annual training events at the Hershey Pennsylvania Creative Grooming dog show and convention. Lunch is easy via the restaurant next door or delivery services. The salon is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
