The Accounts Payable Clerk will assist in entering payable invoices, applying payments, and ensuring good vendor relationships.
The Opportunity
Prepares, posts, verifies, and records supplier payments and transactions related to accounts Payable
Enters payable invoices against applicable POs
Maintains and updates supplier payment information
Works with purchasing to address differences in purchase orders and invoices.
Creates reports regarding the status of supplier accounts as requested.
Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff
Collaborates with the finance lead to reconcile accounts receivable on a monthly basis
Works with intercompany suppliers to reconcile biweekly
Assists Accounting Manager in vendor research for account oddities
Relays changes of information to appropriate employees
Some help with AR or revenue invoicing duties

Physical Requirements
Frequent sitting, standing, and occasional walking. Largely computer based and must be able to focus on potentially loud environments.
Physical demands may include ability to bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, reach above shoulders, walk, and lift to 30 pounds throughout workday
Work Environment
On site computer workstation in an open office. Wearing of Personal Protective Equipment may be required. Following company dress code.
