About the Role:

As the Accounting Manager for our Taiwan business, you will be responsible for the activities of general accounting functions and implementing and maintaining systems, procedures and policies. You will ensure the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and act as a liaison between the company, government and CPA auditors in providing the required information and ensuring that proper information is maintained for historical purposes.

Work Location: This is an onsite role and requires the candidate to be based at our Taiwan office 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly financial report preparation using Oracle

Prepare financial statements and the corporate tax returns in accordance with Taiwanese GAAP

Support local Controller and the corporate counterparts in monthly financial reviews as well as the local sales team to effectively manage the business

Continuous improvement to ensure alignment with Brooks corporate policy and other financial regulations

Manage CAPEX items between the actual purchasing and the unpaid items

Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) expertise; HFM Reporting, including the use of Smart View

Maintenance of roll forwards associated with Fixed Assets

Perform ad-hoc reports, projects as required and review requisite general administrative affairs

Qualifications & Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or other related discipline

Minimum10 years of relevant work experience, with 3 years of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) specific experience including Smart View

CPA or similar professional qualification will be an advantage, but not mandatory

Familiar with a financial system (ERP) and applications (MS Office)

Ability to prepare and analyze the financial data to submit to a local controller and/or counterparts

Confident individual, flexible and creative thinker with strong drive and communication skill to manage the corporate policy, international accounting regulations and financial process independently

Fluency in Mandarin & English is a must – both verbal & written

Abilities to look at process and institute required changes and improvements
