Examining the Group's financial records to make sure that all tax laws, accounting standards, and loan covenants are being followed
Creating financial models, compiling financial analyses of investment portfolios, and supporting management in developing investment strategies
Supporting management in enhancing internal control, risk management, and corporate governance policies and processes
Overseeing the accounts department during the external auditor audit and closing processes, as well as helping with tax preparation.
Advancing the development of accounting systems to support financial analysis and budgeting.
Helping to create efficient cost-control policies and practices
Examining and keeping track of the Group's yearly budget, providing financial analysis and insight into how the budget and actuals compare.
Correcting past accounting errors for the Group and helping management maximise the Group's idle assets
Monitoring the group's cash flow projection and preparing financial reports and analyses on schedule.
Helping the CFO with the sensitivity analysis, group scenario preparation, and PRC account review and control.
Getting the Board documents ready to support director talks
Requirements:
Degree in accounting or finance or a similar field
Six years or more of consistently relevant experience
It is essential to become familiar with PRC accounting practices, laws, and regulations.
Preference for experience managing a portfolio of investments and operating in China
