As an Financial Advisor on the Pence Financial Group team, your focus will be to provide the ultimate in client service resulting in retaining any firm clients that may be assigned and adding new clients to the firm. The best part is you won’t have to do this alone. You will have ongoing access to systems, training, mentorship, and an investment team that will enable you to confidently focus on your number one objective; acquiring and retaining clients. All investment portfolios are managed by our investment team so that you can concentrate on building the client relationship.

Please note this role is located on site in Alexandria, VA. Only candidates who are fully licensed (S7 & S66 or equivalent) and live in the immediate area will be considered.

Responsibilities

Build, expand, and manage client relationships

Assess clients’ needs and goals

Prepare and present financial analysis/plans to prospects and clients

Commit to a collaborative approach as you consistently act with integrity and professionalism

Expand and deepen your own knowledge base and practices in the financial field

Attend firm client events

Prepare/process back office paperwork as needed

Input and complete tasks in company provided CRM (SalesForce)

Understand/explain account and investment details, including performance, to clients

Requirements

3-years of experience as a client-facing advisor (or military equivalent)

Securities licensed: SIE, Series 7 & Series 66

State Life Insurance license (or ability to obtain within 90-days)

Clean compliance record

Customer Record Management (CRM) system experience (SalesForce preferred)

Experience communicating individually and/or to small groups in a professional manner

Experience in high touch customer service

Consultative sales experience

College degree

Desire to obtain a CFP Designation

Military experience a plus

Compensation: Base salary range: $60,000 - $90,000 + Bonuses + a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), health insurance and more
