Powhatan CNA or PCA

Job Description

Senior Helpers has an immediate part-time need for a veteran, male client in Powhatan. The hours are 3:00pm- 7:00pm Mon, Wed, Fri. Client is bedbound and needs incontinence care, and full ADL support.

This client requires a very patient and empathetic caregiver. There is the potential that VA benefits may open up caregiver opportunities during the week also.

Responsibilities

Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned

Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and social activities

Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up

Qualifications

Patience, Caring and Compassionate—you enjoy helping others

Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients

Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance a Plus!
