OUR ROLE

As Senior Manager, Creative Content, you are responsible for overseeing and leading all aspects of the creative content development process for Business Area Fiskars in Europe & APAC. You will develop content strategies (based on our defined brand positioning), manage content creation teams, and ensure the quality and effectiveness of our content across all platforms.

Together with your team, you will develop and implement content strategies (and assets) that align with our business and brand objectives and that resonate with our target audiences. Focused on digital channels, instore and ecommerce, your team will create content aimed to drive consumer engagement and sales.

The role requires strong project management skills, interest for design and branding, consumer and creative understanding and experience in leading creative teams. The role works closely with Brand Management, our Art Director, Marketing Activation, Communications, Shopper Marketing Development as well as Product Management.

As Senior Manager, Creative Content, you have a team of six direct reports. The team consist of content creators, graphic designers, packaging and in-store specialists. This role is based at our headquarters in Espoo, Finland, and is an integral part of our Business Area Fiskars Marketing team in Europe & APAC.

This opportunity is a fixed-term parental leave cover.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS

Key responsibilities:

Lead a team of creatives to translate the brand strategy and creative vision into assets and campaigns that resonate with our target audiences.

Oversee and lead the creative content strategy development that align with our business objectives and with a focus on digital media and sales channels (brick and mortar) to drive consumer engagement and purchase.

Define and deliver content calendars (e.g. what type of content for which activation on which channel at which moment in time), creative executions and campaigns

Lead a team of graphic designers, content creators and specialists: provide a clear process and structure for the team.

Collaborate with global cross functional teams, to ensure content is aligned with overall marketing and product/brand strategy.

Project and budget management, prioritization of project and leading external agencies with creative asset development.

Measure the effectiveness of content across all platforms, using data and analytics to make optimizations.

Evaluate creative work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams and agency partners

WHO YOU ARE

Your experience:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience with a focus on marketing and branding in an international environment.

Strong experience in project management, leading and working with creative teams.

Experienced in budgeting, financial tracking and project planning (timing, target setting, measuring success).

Interest towards design and developing brands and marketing assets that deliver results.

Experienced in working and leading creative teams and agencies. Strong experience from productions and creative processes.

Understanding of (digital, social, shopper) modern marketing landscape.

Experienced in working in a matrix organization, with extensive experience in leading cross category teams and projects.

Understanding and experience of (international) branded consumer goods business and trade.

Inspirational team leader, well organized with a can-do-approach to getting things done, walk the talk.

Proficient in written and spoken English.
