F&B Training Officer Role

The Food & Beverage Training Officer shall have the following qualifications: Seagoing experience in an F&B officer position, or a university degree and experience in the maritime industry of not less than (2) years; A good command of the English language(written & verbal); Good communication and interpersonal skills; Certified train the trainer as per IMO model course 6.09; Experience with training multi-cultural crew; Should have practical and theoretical training and development experience; Must be able to work independently, and have sufficient computer skills to create training presentations; The Food & Beverage Training Officer is responsible to: Create & deliver specific face-to-face training programs on board when assigned; Maintain an updated file for the approved training syllabuses; Prepare monthly training reports; Prepare the quarterly feedback summary; Conduct training centres and course evaluations as assigned; Mentor and coach the crew on board; Review of Task books and competency management assignments; Be adequately conversant with the Company’s Management System; Implement effectively the Company’s Management System; Contribute to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures; Promote and support efforts for continuous improvement; Evaluate ship feedback and report to Head Office Accommodate any other special tasks, if assigned To apply, please contact Connor Swain.
