Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Day Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM

Starting Wage: $36/HR

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.

In this position, you will perform maintenance work on existing manufacturing equipment, maintain and build new equipment and tools, and work with each department to ensure the highest quality product is produced.

Essential Duties:

Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on machines, mechanical equipment, and Midland buildings.

Perform maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Perform routine inspections of machines and equipment to ensure proper function. Recommend and perform repairs as needed.

Occasional forklift operation.

Fabricate necessary repair components as needed to get machines up and running in a timely fashion.

Work with other departments as necessary to ensure high quality and efficient production.

Follow all safety protocols.

Champion an overall culture of teamwork and cooperation between locations and departments.

Provide assistance in all areas with a can-do attitude.

Demonstrate and uphold Midland Values: Service, Quality, and Integrity.

Marginal Duties:

Assist in Production areas as requested.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Competencies Required:

Ability to create and maintain relationships

High level of attention to detail

Valid driver’s license

Welding/Cutting Metal experience

Electrical knowledge

Vertical mill experience

Excellent communication skills

Ability to read, and interpret blueprints and schematics

Ability to perform basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals

Logical thinker

Strong problem-solving ability

Education and Experience:

High School or GED required, and minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully to perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.

Welders

Lift Trucks

Company Vehicles

Plasma Cutter

Mill Machines
