This is a great opportunity for qualified Pipe Fitters to join our Maintenance division, working from our Gladstone Workshop.

Immediate Start

$52.89p/hr + penalties

Weekly Pay

The Role

In this role you will be required to:

The ability to interpret and fabricate using isometric drawing to the required standards and specifications

Complete ITP’s and follow quality control systems and techniques including daily fit up reports.

Undertake and pass all necessary weld qualifications in required weld processes

Mark and record joint and spool numbers including material heat numbers

Problem solving and forward thinking.

Installation of valves and water pipes.

The ability to use a pipe threader

Hydrostatic testing to relevant standards

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

Australian recognised Trade Certificate

Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug screen

Working at Heights and Confined Space within 2 years highly regarded.

Workshop experience

Current ‘C” Class Drivers licence or above

Forklift Ticket

Experience with the following processes GMAW / FCAW / GTAW / MMAW
