About the Position
Our Consultant Interns participate in a variety of training opportunities and team meetings to build the skills and experience needed to become a successful consultant in the future. Specific responsibilities may include:
Partner with Rockwood associates to support consulting projects to learn about what it means to be a consultant
Participate in client meetings to learn how consultants help clients achieve their outcomes
Learn valuable and transferable skills such as active listening, knowledge capture, meeting design, deliverable design, and strategic communications
Brainstorm ideas to help design presentations and other communications materials to ensure the intended messages are shared and received
Research business topics of interest and present recommendations directly to company leadership (and if your recommendations are accepted, you can help implement them!)
Present at company-wide meetings and teach the Rockwood team about the topics you researched that are relevant to our work
In addition to consulting-related activities, Rockwood provides a unique experience where our team members also contribute to corporate initiatives. For example, Rockwood Consulting Interns may:
Support the Rockwood social media or branding team to write a Rockwood Perspectives piece for publication, create a LinkedIn post, add content to the website, and/or develop marketing materials to communicate the Rockwood value to potential clients Consulting Intern
Support internal Rockwood activities, such as recruiting, business development, performance development, knowledge management, business process improvement initiatives, and so much more!
