JOB SUMMARY

Provide leadership and strategic direction for the office of undergraduate admission. Serve as primary liaison with faculty and administration.

Salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Advises on and executes the program-level vision, strategy, key performance indicators, and goals as determined by the associate vice president for enrollment management

Implement the College’s admissions/recruitment strategies and evaluate their effectiveness.

Assist in the coordination of all aspects of the recruitment and enrollment of undergraduate students with the overall goal of increased enrollment.

Serve as a member of the Enrollment Management Senior Leadership Team.

Oversee comprehensive and continuous new employee onboarding and professional development.

Evaluate and monitor progress toward stated goals including evaluation of communication activities by the Admissions Counseling team

Coordinate planning, implementation, documentation, and analysis of on and off-campus recruitment activities including college fairs, high school and community college visits, campus Open House programs, etc.

Assist in developing effective admissions/recruitment publications and communication plan (printed and electronic).

Travel and flexible work hours required, including evenings and weekends.

Demonstrate strong work ethic, commitment to team appropriate to the work of the admissions office, and an enthusiastic attitude toward responsibilities.

Conducts ongoing holistic evaluation of program performance, as related to student outcomes, curriculum performance, budget, accreditation requirements, market demand, and external partnerships opportunities

Provides clear and effective leadership to the University and cross-functional partners to achieve strategic goals.

Maintains partnerships at the national, state, and local levels, including with key professional and industry organizations

OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels, both internally and externally

Experience with Technolutions (Slate) Preferred

Ability to be an agent of change in a rapidly changing environment

Proven ability to analyze data to identify trends and drive innovation within the related field

Strong oral and written communication skill

Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education Master's degree in education or related field.

Experience 6+ years of experience working across multiple levels and departments of a university.

Licenses or Certifications None.

Financial Responsibility Manages department budget according to University policies and procedures.

Supervision Training, coaching other employees, scheduling, providing daily work direction to other employees Provide formal performance evaluation for other employees Hiring Disciplinary action Salary administration (determining and adjusting salaries).

Special Knowledge Comfortable using products within Microsoft office. Familiarity with student information systems. Assessment Experience; experience managing large groups or teams. Workday experience a plus.
