Description:

• Lead the development and implementation of the annual business plans/targets and budgets in line with the overall strategic objectives

• Maintain oversight of operational activities to ensure they are conducted in line with the Group’s policies, procedures and framework across all its business activities

• Work closely with the COO & Head of Business & Product Development to explore and pursue opportunities to expand SBC’s reach in the region and secure further revenue generating streams

• Participate in the Investment Committee to support evaluation of investment opportunities and business decision making

• Oversee the end-to-end contracting activities for new developments including estimation, tender issuance, proposal evaluation, contractor selection, contracting and project management

• Oversee the contractor prequalification and selection process to ensure all contractors meet required standards of QHSE

• Provide site support to effectively track and monitor construction and subcontracting activities in accordance with the agreed project plan, budget and timeframe

• Review and approve invoices for payment against agreed delivery schedule and contractual terms ensuring no delays occur due to non-payment

• Carry out final checks for smooth handover ensuring communications between the team are clear and all deliverables have been delivered as per the contractual agreement

• Escalate any structural/material issues that require changes to the approved designs to the Design, Planning and Consultancy team

• Work closely with ZAHA ensuring fabrication/fitout requirements are delivered as per the agreed contractual terms and approved design

• Oversee management of technical documentation for ease of reference and retrieval

• Prepare management reports and presentation on a periodic and/or adhoc basis as required

• Set and agree individual goals for all direct reports and evaluate individual performance, providing regular feedback and coaching in line with good people management practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Masters is preferred

• Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience

• PMP Certification is a must or equivalent technical certifications

• Highly dependable and independent

• Flexible and agile leadership skills – Specifically with sites progress management

• MS Office Literacy

• FOCUS system(preffered)

• Fluent in English

• Must have a valid driver license to convert in Oman or seek local license

• Must be able to attend to all board requests and provide accurate reports in a periodic timeline

• Seeking a long-term commitment with the company 2+ years
