Bolt Material Puller II- 2nd Shift

Job Description

Job SummaryReceives bolt orders. Interprets bolt orders to determine materials needed. May assemble bolts and nuts. Packages assembled bolt orders. Plastic wraps skids utilizing skid- wrapping machine. May perform inventory functions. Uses Scanner to move material locations. Keeps area clean. May perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Process Outside Process Forms (O.P.F.) for material to be sent for outside vendor processes.Job Duties and Responsibilities

Receives bolt orders/OPF orders. Uses Syteline.

Retrieves appropriate bolt material from storage location(s).

Packages bolts to prevent damage during normal handling, & to customer order requirements and updates in syteline.

Packages bolts/material for OPF orders.

Lists completed bolt orders in Logbook.

Delivers materials to proper personnel/storage location.

Uses scanner to move material from 1 location to another in syteline.

Trained to use forklift..

May help unload containers.

Performs physical count of bolt material.

Can load Material on Saws.Job SpecificationsSkills

Able to understand verbal/written instructions.

Able to solve basic math skills.Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Work Experience

No prior work experience required, but experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting is preferred.Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.

Continuous standing and/or walking

Moderate physical effort- working frequently with average weights of ten to fifty pounds or continuously with lighter weights.

Good eye/hand/foot coordination

Ability to work in cold, hot and/or dusty environment, with noisy conditions.

Must be able to lift fifty pounds independently.
