We are seeking a talented Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into finished projects that align with the director's vision and are suitable for broadcasting. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping our visual content and telling compelling stories through video. Responsibilities

Manipulate and Edit Film Pieces: Seamlessly edit film pieces to create a cohesive final product that is invisible to the audience.

Understand Production Needs: Grasp the production team's needs and specifications by taking briefs effectively.

Review Raw Material: Analyse shooting scripts and raw footage to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.

Sequence Footage: Trim footage segments and assemble them in the desired sequence for the film.

Enhance with Effects and Graphics: Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the overall video.

Ensure Logical Sequencing: Create rough and final cuts, ensuring logical sequencing and smooth transitions.

Collaborate with Stakeholders: Consult with stakeholders throughout the production and post-production process.

Stay Updated: Continuously explore and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

Colour Grading and Sound Mixing: Perform colour grading and sound mixing to enhance the visual and auditory experience.

Requirements

Proficiency in Video Editing Software: Demonstrable expertise in using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).

Creative Eye: Ability to tell a story visually through editing.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure seamless transitions and high-quality output.

Collaborative Spirit: Willingness to work closely with other team members (directors, producers, etc.).

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your previous video editing work.
