Assistant Superintendent - Commercial

Position: ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT

This commercial builder/developer has built a strong name for itself in the Mid-Atlantic over the past 20 years. They are continuing to grow their presence rapidly in the DMV markets and are looking for an Asst Superintendent to support that effort. The candidate should have some prior experience working directly for a General Contractor.

Responsibilities:

Assists with and oversees subcontractors, material, tools, equipment, and labor used to complete the project

Coordinates with all field employees, coordinates with all subtractor activities

Assist developing and maintaining the site logistics plan for the project

Assist developing baseline project schedule

Manages aspects of the project to meet the required specifications in the allotted time

Reviews and approves requisitions, field purchase orders, progress payment requests, and other significant reports and documents.

Responsible for site safety efforts and compliance

Maintain and build high quality relationships with subcontractors and vendors

Important Requirement:

Experience with $10M+ projects as a Field/Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent for a GC
