Job title: Payroll Analyst

Location: Isle of Man or Leeds

Overview of the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy Payroll team within HR.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the administration of Global payrolls across multiple jurisdictions.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned

What you’ll do:

As our Payroll Analyst, you will work on preparing the monthly and bi-weekly payrolls using our internal system, Workday. You'll also assist in the payment of employee salaries and statutory contributions.

Other responsibilities include:

Reconciling payroll reports and data from our third-party payroll providers

Support in the administration of Company pension and benefit schemes

Respond to payroll queries both internal and external

Raising Purchase Orders for supplier invoice payments

Other duties as requested by the Payroll Manager

What you’ll bring:

As the ideal candidate, you will hold previous experience of working with Payroll or Finance and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. From these experiences, you will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You also enjoy problem solving and have an analytical mind.

Other crucial skills:

Strong customer service and communication skills

Be able to work independently with minimum supervision but also work closely with other team members

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

In-depth knowledge of UK payroll would be an advantage
