Project Manager - TMO

Huhtamaki has embarked on an exciting journey of growth and innovation, and to achieve our ambitious goals, we’re building our new Transformation Management Office in our Digital and Process Performance team. The TMO Project Managers will be at the forefront of shaping our future success, working with key strategic programs and projects across Huhtamaki around topics such as digitalization and sustainability. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the continued success of our growing organization. You will have the unique opportunity to work in projects for example around digitalization, sustainability, operating models, post merger integrations, operational and commercial excellence. In this position you will report directly to the Vice President, Transformation Management Office.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

L ead assigned project:

Develop project charter and project management plan

Define and validate project scope

Develop and control project schedule

Estimate budget and control cost

Manage and control quality of deliverables

Plan resources and manage cross functional team

Plan and manage project change management and communication

Identify and mitigate risks

Conduct and control procurements

Project leadership role:

Take project leadership role and ensure high performing team

Facilitate and encourage collaboration across departments to ensure projects are completed successfully

Identify and resolve issues that arise in the project

Continuous improvement and project learnings

Reporting and documentation:

Prepare project steering group presentations, documentation and meetings

Maintain all documentation in project repository

Implementing standard tools and methodology:

Plan and manage the project guided by the Huhtamaki project methodology

Implement standard project tools based on PMI standards in the projects

To be successful in the role, you will require the following Education, Experience & Skills:

Bachelor or Master’s degree required

A minimum of 5+ years project management experience preferred either from similar industry or management consulting in a global environment

PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner, or equivalent preferred or a background in management consulting

Proven experience in running complex projects, strong project and change management skills

Experience in projects for example around digitalization, sustainability, operating models, post merger integrations, operational and commercial excellence

Ability to apply and enhance Huhtamaki project management methodology for the project (e.g., waterfall vs agile)

Strong conceptual skills, yet practical hands-on approach

Budget, cost, and profitability management skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills

People driven change management approach and strong people skills

The ability to deal with uncertainty and work in a dynamic global matrix environment

Drive and ambition to Care, Dare and Deliver with a growth mindset
