Outside Sales Representative

Piedmont Service Group (PSG) is bringing aboard a new Commercial HVAC Sales Representative to our Danville, Virginia team. Help us serve our clients by growing our HVAC and energy service business while delivering the excellent customer service PSG is known for. As a Commercial HVAC Sales Representative, you will be marketing and selling to facility owners and managers in various commercial industries including healthcare, commercial property management, local government, industrial, R&D, pharmaceutical, and hospitality.

Our sales reps also lightly coordinate interaction between clients and other company departments, but the focus of this position is allowing talented sales people to do what they do best - SELL. Little account maintenance is asked of our Commercial Sales Reps., so the focus is consistently on developing new business. This position provides an excellent opportunity to get out of the office, visit customers on site, and learn advanced selling, financial, technical, and energy-conservation skills. Reward potential is high as a competitive base salary is offered along with monthly, uncapped commissions that are directly linked to personal achievement.

In this position, Commercial HVAC Sales Representatives will:

Identify and cold call prospects in an assigned market

Promptly follow up on leads and referrals

Establish customer rapport and identify needs

Engage in business to business selling

Use estimating skills

Effectively communicate with customers and engage in professional networking
