Responsibilities:

As the Corporate Budget Analyst, you will be a key contributor for our indirect planning and decision support processes within Arcfield Corporate Finance. This individual will drive partnerships with the functional department heads such as IT, HR, Growth, Contracts, and Operations to support proactive management of indirect budgeting. You will support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, month-end reporting and analysis, variance analysis, and other ad hoc analysis to support management decision-making.

Major Responsibilities/Activities Statements:

Support the annual and monthly preparation of indirect budgets for Arcfield’s corporate departments, such as IT, HR, Growth, Contracts, and Operations.

Perform monthly in-depth indirect expense analysis and provide reliable data to help with decision making and planning.

Drive partnerships with corporate department heads to support proactive management of indirect budgeting, along with understanding variances, risks, and opportunities.

Attend monthly department indirect review meetings with Director of Corporate Finance and Department heads.

Track indirect PO’s funding, invoices, and ETCs.

Report and Analyze IR&D and B&P expenditures.

Provide guidance on requisitions, accounting entries, and various functional requests regarding proper project, org, account coding in accordance with annual budget and disclosure statements.

Ensure all reports are submitted according to corporate financial schedules.

Comply with and enforce all legal Company policies, procedures and instructions.

Ad hoc reporting as requested.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

Required Experience:

+5 years of related indirect budgeting experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2)

Experience within the defense or software industry

Required Skills:

Ideal candidate is a quick learner and comfortable working in a fast paced environment

Well organized, reliable, and highly motivated with ability to handle multiple projects and produce timely, high quality work

Possesses keen attention to detail and has a passion for numbers

Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success

Proficient with Microsoft Office products

Advance Excel modeling skills with ability to mine, consolidate, and report on complex data structures resulting in visibility for decision support (queries, pivots, lookups, etc)

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation)

Ability to develop strategic relationships with your business partners to deliver results

Other Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship

Ability to obtain and maintain any additional clearances as required

Desired:

Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, and TM1 (FocusPoint) preferred.

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
