We are currently seeking experienced Residential Pool Maintenance Technicians to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting with work orders and other required tasks.

$17.00 and up an hour, depending on experience.

Monday - Friday start time is promptly at 7 am till the day’s work orders have been completed. There is overtime and some Saturdays will be required.

Ideal Candidate of a Residential Pool Maintenance Technician:

Previous experience in maintenance

Familiarity with pool maintenance tools and equipment

Ability to handle physical workload

Deadline and detail-oriented

Summary of Duties for a Residential Pool Maintenance Technician: Responsible for ensuring the execution of weekly service on contracts by performing the following duties.

Requirements:

Responsibilities of a Residential Pool Maintenance Technician:

Assist with work and repair orders in a timely fashion

Test and balance water chemistry

Brush, scoop and vacuum the pool, spa and/or water feature

Perform routine preventive maintenance

Maintain material and supply inventory

Supervisory Responsibilities of a Residential Pool Maintenance Technician:

Directly supervises up to two employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications of a Residential Pool Maintenance Technician:

Language Ability of a Residential Pool Maintenance Technician:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability of a Residential Pool Maintenance Technician:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability of a Residential Pool Maintenance Technician:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Education/Experience of a Residential Pool Maintenance Technician:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or less than one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses of a Residential Pool Maintenance Technician:

· PHTA service technician certificate would be a plus

· Valid driver's license with excellent driving record

Pool Equipment

Hand tools

Gas powered tools

Battery operated tools
