Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County is looking for an experienced Office Manager with bookkeeping skills to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST have QuickBooks experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bookkeeping

A/P, A/R entries into QuickBooks online daily

Enter donations into LGL database

Collect receipts and reconcile credit card statements monthly

Track and process grant reimbursements

Assist with preparation of records for year-end audit by independent audit firm

Assist with the management of grants including government and private sector funds and ensure that all reports are filed in a timely manner

Office Administration

· Carefully follow the instructions provided by the administrative staff.

· Use professional telephone etiquette when communicating with others.

· Handle incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.

· Keep track of the organization's calendar and schedule appointments accordingly.

· Monitor office supplies inventory and order more when needed.

· Establish and maintain well-organized physical and digital filing systems.

· Work diligently without constant supervision or guidance.

· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Demonstrate outstanding organizational abilities in managing tasks effectively.

· Pay close attention to detail in all aspects of work.

· Possess intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva 365

· Other responsibilities assigned.

· Must love our furry friends (2 cats and a pug)

Working Conditions:

This position operates primarily in an office environment. However, occasional off-site work may be required for events or meetings. The Office Manager will typically work during regular office hours, Monday to Friday, 36 hours, but some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate special events or projects.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred or sufficient accounting experience

· Proven experience as an office manager or similar role is preferred but not required; willingness to learn on the job is highly valued!

· Must have QuickBooks experience, QuickBooks online preferred

· Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel) are essential; familiarity with database management systems is advantageous.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction both internally within the organization as well as externally.

· Strong organizational abilities including time management skills are crucial for handling multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

· A friendly demeanor coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills that enable you to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Valid driver license with good driving record.

Must be able to pass a credit and criminal background check
