Line Manager

As the Line Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our automatic corrugation line. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and the smooth functioning of the production line.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of operators and technicians to ensure the efficient operation of the automatic corrugation line.

Coordinate production schedules, manpower allocation, and material requirements to meet production targets and customer demands.

Monitor production processes and workflow to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and quality control standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure optimal performance.

Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge of production processes and equipment operation.

Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to resolve issues and optimize production efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics, and prepare reports for management review.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.

Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among line staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the corrugated packaging industry.

Hands-on experience with automatic corrugation lines and familiarity with corrugated box manufacturing processes.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.

Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and production management principles.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
