Electrical Buyer

Primary Responsibilities:

Key member in Customer Focus Team with a focus on material procurement and on time delivery to our customers.

Represent material group in customer meetings

Create and Develop relationship with franchised distributors

Maintain a good KPI in all aspects of purchasing

Quote material with supply chain

Request RMA's from suppliers

Expedite PO's

Monitor supplier delivery dates

Resolve PO with issues in receiving department

Attend meetings with PM's and Planning on material status

Attend meetings with suppliers to revolve issues

Manage OTD from suppliers

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Experience in electric component industry or contract manufacturing preferable.

3 - 5 years as a buyer is preferred

Experience in Epicor ERP is preferred.

Technical knowledge of electronic components such as semiconductors, connectors, capacitors, resistors, etc.

Strong communication skills

Strong negotiation skills

Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Must be US citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR Requirement)

Schedule: M-F 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
