Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct imaging in accordance with Atria safety protocols, policies, and procedures

Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety

Assume responsibility for the safety of the patient during the imaging and communicate in a manner appropriate to the patient's ability to understand

Except as authorized by clinical management, refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional

Requirements

Requirements:

Ultrasound Diploma required from an accredited program

RDMS certification required, RVT strongly preferred

Ability to scan general, small parts, basic vascular, breast, pelvic, and 1st trimester OB scans

2+ years' experience as a sonographer

Compassionate and effective communicator with strong tact and diplomacy

Committed to excellence, high standards and collegiality
