This role is part-time (24 hours per week) shift: Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 8:30am-5:00pm

No weekends, holidays, evenings, or call. Free parking.

Who you are:

As a Radiologic Technologist with Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC) at our Prosperity patient center in Fairfax, VA you are passionate about the patient experience and do your best every day to help the teams you work with to provide the best care.

What you will do:

Image patients under the guidelines and standards set forth by FRC and regulatory agencies.

Practice a high level of radiation safety including shielding patients, limiting repeat exposures, wearing film badge and other procedures.

Obtain complete medical history on patient as required by department guidelines.

Explain the procedure to the patient in a clear and concise manner the procedure and answer all reasonable questions.

What you bring:

Able to perform Diagnostic X-rays

Active RT (R) (ARRT) certification

Active Virginia RT license

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
