Contract to Hire perm - IBM iSeries Admin

Irving, TX

Once rolled perm, outstanding benefit package

We are looking for a Administer IBMi i Series servers and all associated systems and components. Must have a minimum of 7 years in the iSeries world..

Install, manage, and maintain IBM i power systems and their associated systems.

Apply PTF patches to all instance monthly

Configure, manage and test backup and system recovery

Configure and test disaster recovery and failover using Mimix replication

Configure, manage and maintain GoAnywhere FTP server

Configure, manage, and maintain HMS crypto cards

Configure, manage, and maintain DCM (adding and removing certificates)

Facilities management supporting our UPS and generators at corporate HQ

IBM Power 9+ hardware experience

IBM FS9000 storage experience

IBM Tape library, Crypto card, Mimix experience

Knowledge of iACS configuration Kerberos authentication

Experience with GoAnywhere or other similar FTP applications

Experience with Turnover lifecycle Management software

Must possesses an understanding of CL programming or basic scripting

Experience with any off of the following software is a plus: Sequel/Esend, KeyesMail, Alliance logging, IMS/21

imaging, TAATools, Hawkeye, Progen Plus, GETURI, and DBU.
