Job Description

We are seeking skilled, friendly, extroverted, and passionate hairstylists to join our team in our brand new hair salon in the Katy/Firethorne area. As a hairstylist/cosmetologist, you will provide a wide range of beauty services to our clients, including hair styling, color, makeup application, and more. If you have a strong passion for the beauty industry and enjoy helping others look and feel their best, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

- Perform haircuts, hairstyling, color, and hair treatments

- Apply makeup for special occasions or events

- Barbering services are not required but preferred

- Educate clients on proper hair and skincare routines

- Recommend and sell beauty products to clients

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow all sanitation and safety protocols

Qualifications:

- Valid cosmetology license in the state of Texas

- 2 years experience preferred

- Proficiency in various beauty techniques, including hair styling, makeup application, etc.

- Knowledge of color theory and ability to create customized hair colors

- Experience with salon software for appointment scheduling and inventory management

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
