We’re currently looking for an Education Officer on a full time, fixed term contract basis. This position sits within the Education team, based in our Shanghai Office, China.

The job

Reporting to the Education Manager, China, on a day to day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:

Support the educational related initiatives to improve the work-ready skills and employability of future members, and provide clear guidance on the career development direction for future members.

Support employability Programmes to protect China university segment. Liaison internally and externally for programme design & development, delivery, and communication & engagement.

Support development and delivery of the educational solutions or products that address the China-specific problems cross market to improve the exam progression.

Continuously manage local tutor community to maximise the effectiveness of key resources and integrate with local initiatives by working closely with Education Managers.

Provide onsite support for ACCA educational events and enable to deliver the cutting-edge elements of Qualification and Learning products.

Support the delivery of new Qualification. Provide necessary support for the consultation and collaboratively work across functions to ensure successful market adoption.

Work closely with Education Managers to support other educational initiatives and other projects per request.

Prepare and consolidate the annual budget & phasing. Settle the payment per request and regularly monitor the budget to ensure the variance is within the control.

The person

We’re looking for someone who will be expected to have the following qualification(s) and experience:

Bachelor’s or above degree in, preferably but not limited to, accounting or business.

4-6 years related working experience in and good understanding of professional education and ACCA products.

ACCA qualified is preferred with good understanding of ACCA’s qualification.

Strong communication and people skills, good at writing and presenting educational contents, organising and presenting ideas, good at influencing others, etc.

Strong relationship management skills with both external stakeholders and partners and internally working across matrix structures.

Down to details with strong analysis and evaluation skills by reviewing and maintaining accurate tutor dashboard.

Strong written and verbal language skills in both Mandarin and English.

Self-driven and excellent time management skills and can work under pressure.
